Calgary is an easy city to get around using public transport. Bus and train services are clean, regular and reliable all for a fixed fee daily or weekly. All distances covered in one payment which was reasonable. Bus drivers were always willing to help by telling you what stop to get off at and directions to where you were going. Calgary can be a touch expensive though for eating out and beers. Generally speaking, Calgary is a clean modern city with plenty of shopping, eating places and places of interest both in the city and nearby.

Beds were comfortable with pillow choices of soft & firm. The location was close enough to Calgary Airport but not too close at around 5kms. The hotel was also close to a shopping mall with restaurants too. Getting into downtown Calgary was pretty straight forward, we aimed for the Town Hall as it was close to the Calgary Tower and the main shops.
